and find empowerment
Welcome, my name is Iris Schaden. I am a certified Business and Personal Life Coach with a focus on positive psychology – an approach that considers your personal and professional strengths and long-term wellbeing. If you are ready to step into the confident, happy and fulfilling life you want to live, let me help you get there with my unique blend of psychology, tried-and-tested coaching strategies and a cheerful smile.
How I can support you
My objective is to help you create structure, explore possibilities and navigate change in meaningful steps so that you can live a life that is empowered, happy and fulfilled.
I am a certified Business and Personal Life Coach and member of the International Coach Federation based in Melbourne. Prior to this, I worked in global companies across different management roles as a marketing professional for over 20 years.
I have always been fascinated by people. This passion has not only resulted in ongoing personal research on modern human psychology and neuroscience, but has also led me to live, travel and work around the world, exploring and experiencing human behaviours and the varying cultures that shape them.
How I Coach
As your certified Business and Personal Life Coach, my role in this partnership is to support you in overcoming challenges and achieving personal and professional growth.
During coaching, I help you to analyse your situation, gain clarity, identify any potential limiting beliefs and assess your overall mental and physical wellbeing.

Still Thinking About It?
You might have tried self-coaching by reading books, watching free online videos or listening to podcasts, and wondered why this hasn’t worked for you. In 2016, Frontiers in Psychology published a study examining the relative effectiveness of coaching in comparison with other interventions. Their findings not only showed that coaching and training effectively enhanced performance, but also emphasized the beneficial effects of coaching on clients’ goal attainment.
Transformational life coaches create an autonomy-supportive interpersonal climate resulting in high levels of intrinsic motivation and learning. (Losch, S. et al. (2016). Comparing the Effectiveness of Individual Coaching,
Self-Coaching, and Group Training: How Leadership Makes the Difference. Frontiers in Psychology, 7(629)). Melbourne
